Christmas Eve is always a fun time at Grandma & Grandpa's house. I get to hang out with family and friends. Mom makes me get a little dressed up but I get to get in to comfy jammies later in the evening. This Santa Guy wanted u to sit on his lap so everyone could take pictures. Madelyn, Lucky and I all agree that he is really scary.

Cousin Lucky's 1st Birthday Party

Everything at Lucky's Birthday was great! He had fun people there, great food including a homemade Italian Birthday Cake and the coolest slide in to a ball pit. I had so much fun. I even tried to up-stage the birthday boy by standing up and walking (for the first time) through the everyone while Lucky was opening his presents.

Not so happy with this Santa thing...

As you can see Cody was not happy with sitting on Santa's lap. I guess every kid goes through this stage before Santa becomes a great guy.

Cody Turns One!

The first ride on a carousel for Cody and Madelyn. Aside from the fact that he's not smiling, he absolutely loved the ride...he screamed when he had to get off. Madelyn didn't like riding the horse, but the ground was okay especially when big brother Jacob came to sit by her.

The Aspens in Fall

If you have never seen the colors of the Aspens changing in the fall then you haven't seen gold. These pictures are from Mueller State Park and Gold Camp Road the last weekend in September. It's a truley spectacular sight.

Colorado State Fair

Cody had a blast looking at all the different animals. He really liked the goats and the ducks...probably because they made the most noise when we were around. Next year he'll be ready to actually go in to he petting zoo instead of watching from the outside. And yes, that Longhorn was really, really big - the picture doesn't really give the full perspective.

The First Haircut

Cody got his 1st haircut in August. We took him to Kool Kuts for Kids...they had these cool little cars he got to sit in. As you can see he loved it...paid no attention to the clippers.

Camping Trip

These are pictures from our trip to Estes Park in July. It was Cody's first time camping. It was a pretty good trip except for the heat wave as Todd had to set up the tent. So we all ended up with a little bit of sun on the first day. Not to mention that we're thinking of finding a pop-up trailer now... We did the whole tour of Rocky Mountain National Park, visited Grand Lake and checked out the Stanley Hotel (the hotel from The Shinning).

I love hanging out on Sunday morning and watching my Baby Einstein Videos on Daddy's new Blu-Ray Player...HD is really cool.

First Teeth

He started teething on our trip to Chicago in early May...the teeth appeared in June.

I Can Feed Myself

Cody fed himself for the first time while at Grandpa's House.

Poor Maggie

Maggie had a torn ACL repaired on May 2. She's doing great and back on all four legs.
She even let's Cody pull on her stomach hair

Rolling, Rolling, Rolling...

One day he was rolling over once and then stopping...on April 5, something clicked in his mind and off he went. He was rolling all over the family room...until he bumped up against something, then he'd forget he knew how to roll the other way and cry (okay, scream) until someone moved him. And then he was off again.

Welcome to Cody's World

Hi Cody! He entered the world 8:45 PM on November 13, 2007. He was 8 lbs. 5 1/2 oz and 21 1/4 inches long. It took almost 24 hours for Cody to actually enter the world. He was born with so much hair that the doctor couldn't get the suction cup to stick to his head to help him out. From the very beginning he was opening his eyes and checking out his new world.
